MENG Supports the Tula “Scale Arms” Static Model Show

The “Scale Arms” Static Model Show is held in the Tula State Museum of Weapons in Tula city of Russia every year. There are lots of excellent static models on display. A series of prizes are also awarded in the show. The 9th “Scale Arms” Static Model Show was held from Oct.31th to Nov.14, 2015. MENG, together with its official distributor Mir modeley (in the Perm City), participated in the show as show partners.

This year’s model show was held by the Tula State Museum of Weapons, the Sbytservice Company and the Hobby Center Company together. The Tula “Heritage Levshy” military history static model club also actively participated in the organization of the show. The show attracted 14 static model clubs. 157 modellers from all over Russia and Ukraine brought a total of 527 works. 20 adult prizes and 20 teenager prizes were awarded. MENG donated some kits. It’s worth mentioning that, at the closing ceremony of the show, Mr. Martin·Vyacheclav·Antonevich, who’s the manager of the Sbytservice Company and the vice chairman of the Tula “Heritage Levshy” military history static model club presented MENG’s SS-009 Russian Long-range Rocket Launcher 9A52-2 Smerch model kits to the Tula State Museum of Weapons and the Splav State Research and Production Enterprise (its predecessor was the Tula Instrument Design Bureau, which designed the 9A52-2 Smerch rocket launcher).

MENG is much honored to participate in such a great static model show. And we feel very excited that our products become official collections of its design bureau. MENG will stick to its design concepts, promote hobby culture and develop more excellent model kits. We look forward to having more opportunities to communicate face to face with modelers all around the world.
